We Must Create The Time

The number one excuse or reason I hear as a coach, mentor, medium and individual is "I don't have time" actually it use to be one of my own over 15 years ago. I once was like a member of society. Busy, stuck on auto pilot and heavily in survival mode. My second awakening happened and spirit told me when you create balance, you learn to create the time. But also prioritize the time. So when I'm working with individuals one of the top questions I get asked for guidance on is.....
“I never have enough time to do what I want. How can I make life stop slipping away from me?”
The answer is simple.... To create the life you want, make room for the things that truly matter to you.
It’s no secret that the weeks slip away from us. Things get busy and we push our goals and desires aside. Especially with lack of organization, boundaries, motivation and self discipline.
But when we don’t make time for what really matters, we end up feeling bad about ourselves. We may even feel like we’re living life only halfway. Self sabotaging behaviors that end up holding yourself back!
The key here is to prioritize. Everything in your life is a choice.
To start, today ask yourself:
What have I not been prioritizing that is very important to me?
Then to take it a step further, ask yourself:
What have I been prioritizing that is NOT important to me?
Your life reflects where you put your time and energy. To create the life you want, you need to give love and attention to the things that truly matter to you. Stop pushing away what you care about and start making time for your most important asset: your inner joy.
You may be thinking, there aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m too busy with work as it is. Making more time for myself is impossible.
The answer is to start small. Give just ten minutes of your day to yourself (with absolutely no room for work emails, to-do lists, or anxious thoughts).
And don’t underestimate the power of small accomplishments to boost your inspiration.
Read. Every night read just 5 pages of that book that’s been sitting unopened on your shelf.
Journal. Write down your thoughts for a few minutes every day to get back in touch with your inner desires and goals. Where are you in your life right now and what do you want to focus on?
Get outside. Go for a short walk on your lunch break to give your brain a rest and reconnect with nature. Feel the sun on your face. Breathe.
It’s time to put yourself first. What matters to you first and the things that help support that.
No matter what is going on in your life personally and professionally, know that your own well-being comes first. Never sacrifice your sense of self for anything.
If you needed this boost of encouragement today…
Much love,
